Our field should be a “Diamond in the Rough” because it gets a lot of use from teams but not a lot of care. The city cannot do all the things to take care of it and we like to play baseball on it whenever we can. It needs help to be a great field. The field needs new grass, better drainage and a complete renovation. We would like real or nicer dugouts and some lights. I love baseball. It has given me “The Power Within” to be successful on the field by teaching me how important it is to be a good teammate, and how to win and lose as a member of a team. It teaches me to try my best all the time, and to never give up, in school and on the field. I have a lot of fun playing baseball.
